PURPOSE:To obtain the titled resin having flame retardance and improved heat resistance, by using a polymer polyol obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer at least a part of which is a maleimide, in a polyol. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin is obtained by reacting (A) a polymer polyol obtained by polymerizing polymerizable monomers containing alpha,beta-unsaturated group and composed of a maleimide (preferably N-phenylmaleimide, etc.) as at least a part of the components (preferably a combination of a maleimide and acrylonitrile) in a polyol (preferably polyether polyol, etc.) with (B) a polyisocyanate compound.
