PURPOSE:To simplify the installation work and yet prevent the leakage from occurring by a structure wherein the evaporator section and the condenser section, which is made of flexible material and imbedded in a flooring material, are formed in a loop by being jointed with a forward pipe and a return pipe in a carpet-like floor heater utilizing heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:Working fluid, which is vaporized by being heated at an evaporator section 15 by a heat source 16 within a heat source vessel 17, reaches through a forward pipe 13, a coupling 14, and a header 9 to the radiating pipes 11 of a condenser section 6 and condenses and then returns through a return pipe 12 to the evaporator section 15. Meanwhile, a carpet 4 is heated through the radiating pipes 11 by the latent heat of condensation. In the structure as mentioned above, the condenser section 6, which is made of flexible material, imbedded in the carpet 4, and jointed to the evaporator section in a loop, is allowed to be kept in a wound state, resulting in simplifying the handling and installation, preventing the leakage of vapor and the like from occurring, and consequently improving the safety. |
