PURPOSE:To prevent clogging of a flame hole or spreading of the clogging of the flame hole from occurring, by applying or welding a water repelling material having heatproof characteristic such as glass and teflon to the whole of the surface forming a flame hole or a part of the surface or the vicinity of a blow-off port of the flame hole. CONSTITUTION:A water repelling material 13 having heatproof characteristic such as glass and teflon such as enamel is made to apply or weld to a circumferential part of a flame hole part consisting of the bottom 9 of a penthouse part of a burner cap 3, a circumferential surface 11 including an external circumferential surface 10 of a tooth form 5 and a protrusion 12 stabilizing the upper surface 7 of a main body 6 of a burner head and a flame. With this construction, a boiled over liquid streams down by keeping its furface tension as it is,there is few possibility that the liquid enters into even a flame hole 2' over which the liquid is splashed and the liquid can be prevented from spreading to the circumference.
