PURPOSE:A composition useful for tapes, etc., having improved adhesive performances, obtained by blending elastomer with a specific resin in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. elastomer, (B) 20- 100pts.wt. hydrocarbon resin consisting of about 20-98mol% unsaturated hydrocarbon and 80-2mol% 9,10-dihydrodicyclopentadiene (derivative), and (C) 10- 50pts.wt. resin having 1.00-1.10 specific gravidy of a copolymer of (i) a fraction obtained during thermal cracking of petroleum, containing aromatic hydrocarbons, having 140-280 deg.C boiling point range and (ii) a fraction obtained during thermal cracking of petroleum, containing aliphatic hydrocarbons, having -20- 100 deg.C boiling point range, as main components.
