PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molding inexpensively, by putting a strip having a metallic gloss surface on an inexpensive wide strip whose surfaces are not glossy, joining them, folding and forming the joined strips, and covering the non- gloss surfaces with a resin. CONSTITUTION:For example, a metal strip 10a having a metallic gloss surface is put longitudinally on an outer surface of a wide metal strip 10b whose surfaces are not glossy, they are joined by spot welding or the like to be formed into a strip 10', and the strip 10' excluding the joined sections is folded and formed by a group of rollers 110 of a cold rolling molder into a metal core material 10. Successively, the metal core material 10 is passed through a crosshead 112a of an extruder so that the non-glossy surfaces including said joined sections are covered with a synthetic resin to form a lip section 13. Thus a metal molding having a metallic gloss surface on part of the longitudinal outer surface can be produced.
