The invention relates to methods for the construction of curved tiled roofs, as well as the roofs obtained and self-supporting pans. A roof of a building 1 comprises self-supporting ribbed pans 4 which are laid on horizontal purlins 31, 32, 33 supported by a frame 2. The relief corrugations 4a are fixed to the purlins by bolts. A metal reinforcement strip is fixed to the bolts and is embedded in a concrete roll. A row of curved tiles 9, the concavity of which is directed downwards, is laid on each concrete roll. One application is the semi-pre-engineered construction of detached houses. <IMAGE>
