PURPOSE:To enable to heat over a wider area with small fuel consumption by a structure wherein an infrared combustion surface annexed to a gas chamber is arranged on the back of a combustion chamber, on the front of which an infrared radiant surface is installed, and a hot water pipe is arranged in front of the infrared combustion surface in the combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:Gaseous fuel 8 and combustion air 4 are introduced under pressure in a gas chamber 3 in order to cause infrared combustion by passing through a large number of fine gas jetting holes 6 on an infrared combustion surface. In frared radiant heat thus developed radiates itself ahead through an infrared radiant surface 2 in a form of hot odorless gas so as to heat the interior of a room odorless. At this time, the water running in a hot water pipe 7 is heated by the infrared radiant heat so as to rapidly turn into high temperature water, which is supplied to radiators in other rooms for heating. In such a structure as described above, the reduction of fuel consumption and the heating over a wider area are made possible. |
