PURPOSE:A composition for oral cavity useful as toothpaste, lubricating dentifrice, liquid dentifrice mouthwash, paste, etc., obtained by using mutanase (a drug for preventing decay of the teeth) together with casein, casein hydrolyzate or its mixture so that mutanase is stably blended with the composition. CONSTITUTION:0.1-5wt%, preferably 0.3-3wt% casein, such as casein hydrolyzate obtained by hydrolyzing milk casein with an enzyme derived from pancreas or trypsin or its mixture as a stabilizer for mutanase based on total amount of composition is blended with a mutanase-containing composition for oral cavity, to give a composition for oral cavity keeping sufficient enzymatic activity of mutanase for a long period, showing improved preventing effect on decay of the teeth. The composition can be further blended with common components, especially with an N-acylsarcosine salt alone or with a surcrose fatty acid ester as a foaming agent to improve further stability of mutanase.
