PURPOSE:To increase the heat transfer surface of a container, while scarcely decreasing the efficiency of circulation, by forming a cluster of fins of specified structure on the inside wall of a heat pipe container. CONSTITUTION:Double spiral bodies 1 of small diameter and of small pitch, made of metallic fine wire, constitute a cluster of fins on the inside wall of a container. Each body 1 is elastically held on the inside wall of a container 3, contacted tight to the wall with the pressure being applied to it, by a spiral body supporting rod 2, made of metallic wire of high elasticity, piercing through the whole length of the body 1. Pressurized supporting in such a manner decreases the thermal rsistance in the contacting part, and the state of thermal connection can be maintained in a long period of time while heat pipes are used, withstanding numerous times of thermal cycles of repeated expansion and contraction. |
