PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus that can provide continuously a plastic bulb whose diameter and wall thickness are uniform, by expanding a mass of a plastic in a fluid state by primary air, and then stretching the thus formed bulb axially by the flow of secondary air so that the bulb is torn off by a secondary air nozzle outer section. CONSTITUTION:A plastic that is in a melted state or dissolved state and is fed in an annular fashion from a nozzle 1 is expanded by primary air jetted from a primary air nozzle 2. The forward end of the thus formed bulb that is dependent is axially stretched by axial flow of secondary air formed in a secondary air chamber 3 and the flow of the secondary air is throttled at the secondary air nozzle 4. The stretched bulb is grown and torn off at the outside of the nozzle 4 and a hollow spherical plastic bulb is formed. If the diameter da of the seccondary air nozzle is changed, the diameter db of the bulb is changed, and when da/db changes, the number of the produced bubls and the yield changes. |
