The invention relates to improvements made to trailers or semi-trailers. One aspect consists in reinforcing the structure of the cell by fixing hollow rectangular longitudinal members 1 to the upper part of the body. A series of jacks 2 fixed between these longitudinal members will develop forces f which oppose the stresses exerted by loading, in order to rectify the deformations following these stresses and, consequently, to right the body. A second aspect of the invention lies in the arrangement of side-opening unloading doors 7 actuated by jacks 6, allowing the use of conveyor belts 5 for laterally unloading the load. <IMAGE>
