PURPOSE:To effectively prevent scattering of a toner by mounting a toner scatter preventing body covering the opened parts of a developing unit and a photosensitive body, freely detachably from said unit. CONSTITUTION:An opening 114 is formed on a part of a casing 102 contg. a toner 106. A photosensitive body 16 for bearing a latent image is arranged detachably near the opening 114, and the toner 106 is allowed to attach to the body 16 through the opening 114. This developing unit is provided with a toner scatter preventing body 130, and it has a shape covering the opened parts between the surface of the body 16 and the casing 102, and it is mounted detachably from the casing 102. |
