PURPOSE:To make it possible to lower the cost thereby providing an inexpensive molding, by joining a strip having metallic gloss surfaces and a strip having non-gloss surfaces, folding and forming the joined strips, and covering the roughened surfaces with a resin. CONSTITUTION:For example, the metal strip 10a having metallic gloss surfaces and the metal strip 10b having non-gloss surfaces are joined along the length by welding or the like to form a strip 10', and the strip 10' is folded and formed by a group of rollers 117 of a cold rolling molder into a metal core material 10 having a prescribed cross-sectional configuration. Then, the metal core material 10 except the joined sections is passed through a crosshead die 119a of an extruder so that the non-gloss surfaces of the metal core material 10 including said joined sections are covered with a synthetic resin to form a lip section 13. Thus, a metal molding with part of the longitudinal outer surface having a metallic gloss surface and with other non-glossy outer part covered with a synthetic resin can be obtained.
