The invention relates to measurement apparatuses. The device for measuring vibration which is the subject of the invention is of the type comprising a UHF generator 2 whose energy is transmitted by an antenna 4 to the object 5 to be studied, then, being reflected by the latter, is transmitted via the antenna 4 to a detector 6, which also receives high-frequency reference oscillation energy, and is characterised in that the antenna 4 comprises a mirror 7 of elliptical shape, in immediate proximity to the second focus of which (that is to say the focus which is further from the mirror 7), the object 5 to be studied is placed, and a radiator 8 mounted at the first focus (that is to say at the focus nearer the mirror 7) which irradites the whole of its surface. The invention applies in particular to checking the vibrational parameters of machines and mechanisms or of their constituent parts. <IMAGE>
