PURPOSE:To prevent the dewing of exhaust gasses, after-heating, the freezing of boiler water and a supply of high temperature hot water by a method wherein a coil-like tubular heat exchanger is provided on the upper part of the boiler and a mixing tank, the heat exchanger and the upper end of the boiler are made to communicate with one another. CONSTITUTION:A high temperature combustion gas generated by a burner 17 moves upward through a smoke duct 2 and is discharged outside from a rectifying cylinder 9. Water supplied from a water supply pipe 12 is preheated by the combustion gas while it moves up in the boiler and a part of the water enters the heat exchanger 5 from a communication pipe 6 and after being heated sufficiently, it is transferred to the mixing tank. The remaining hot water enters the mixing tank 7 via a bypass pipe 8 and the two parts of the hot water are mixed to be supplied from a hot water pipe 13. In this case, as the preheated water is supplied into the heat exchanger pipe 5, no dewing of the exhaust combustion gas takes place. Further, even when the boiler water in the heat exchanger 5 is heated to a high temperature due to after-heating, it is mixed with the remaing hot water in the mixing tank 7 so that the temperature of the hot water is lowered to be supplied at a suitable temperature. |
