PURPOSE:A composition for oral cavity keeping sufficient enzymatic activity of mutanase for a long period, showing improved preventing effect on decay of the teeth, containing mutanase as a drug for preventing decay of the teeth and an N-acylsarcosine salt as a surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:A composition for oral cavity containing mutanase and 0.1- 3.0wt% N-acylasarcosine salt shown by the formula (R is alkyl; N is alkali metal, or ammonium) as a surface active avent. Mutanase is an enzyme to decompose plucan produced by streqtococcus mutans, is extremely unstable, but it can be stabilized by using the compound shown by the formula as a surface active agent. The composition for oral cavity is used in the form of toothpaste, lubricating dentifrice, liquid dentifrice, mouthwash, paste, cleaning agent for artificial denture, etc. |
