<p>PURPOSE:To use no exclusive and special frequency dividing means to set a high-speed reproduction mode by providing a means to output a rotary frequency detecting signal having a specific frequency. CONSTITUTION:A rotary frequency detector 29 outputs a rotary frequency detecting signal S1 having a frequency which is A times as high as the frequency of a reproduction control signal in a recording mode and a normal reproduction mode. In a high-speed reproduction mode, the reproduction control signal CTL is defined as an input signal of an AFC circuit. Therefore, it is not needed to divide the input signal of the AFC circuit even in case the reproduction mode is changed to the high-speed reproduction mode. The dividing ratios of frequency dividing circuits 42 and 43 are set as a whole so as to get 1/A. In the high-speed reproduction mode, the signal CTL is transmitted through the circuits 42 and 43 to obtain an input signal for comparison in phase. Therefore, it is not needed to use any frequency dividing circuit even in case the reproduction mode is changed to the high-speed reproduction mode.</p> |
