PURPOSE:To attain ease of control at the end of transmission of picture data with increased transmission efficiency by reading and transmitting successively a transmission start coordinate and contents of a bit map where enter a square area based on the displacement of X and Y directions. CONSTITUTION:Transmission start coordinates (X1, Y1) and displacements (DELTAX, DELTAY) of a received picture data are set to registers 31-34. When the contents of the transmission start coordinates are set to X, Y address counters 37, 38 and the 1st picture data is written in a bit map memory 43. On the other hand, the contents of the X, Y counters 37, 38 are compared with an output of adders 35, 36 by comparators 39, 40 and the, X, Y counters 37, 38 are updated by +1 until a coincidence signal is formed. When the coincidence signal is outputted from both comparators 38, 39, a transmission end signal is formed as an output of an AND circuit 41. Thus, the picture data of the area defined by the (X1, Y1) and DELTAX, DELTAY are expanded and reproduced. |
