PURPOSE:To make it easy to assemble the duct by a method wherein the communication duct communicating with a blowout port of an indoor unit is formed of a part having side walls capable of generating a coanda effect and a part having a side pressure generating section. CONSTITUTION:The duct 4 is provided to establish communication between the indoor unit 3 of the air conditioner and a blowout grill 1 and the blowout grill 1 and the upper part of the duct 4, that is, the side wall side duct part 4a, are provided with the side walls 12 and 10, respectively. Further, the duct part 4b on the lower side of the duct 4 has the side pressure generating section and both the upper duct part 4a and the lower duct part 4b are formed integral with each other by bonding. These duct parts 4a and 4b are made of a heat insulating material such as styrofoam.
