Endless bands for conveying materials or such bands which are used for spinning are subjected to high tensile loads and abrasive wearing effects; they are therefore produced from corresponding multi-component plastics, such as polyurethane, by means of a helicoidal pouring process of a jet of plastic on or in circumferential surfaces of tubes. The previous processes and equipment did not, however, allow the incorporation of reinforcing filaments 14 or bands, which is achieved according to the process of the invention and the associated equipment by the reinforcement 14 coinciding exactly to the length of the average diameter of the plastics tube 8 to be produced and being positively fed to the jet 9 of plastic running onto the supporting tube 1. <IMAGE>
