CYLINDER EQUIPMENT FOR ACTUATING PUSH-PULL CABLE

PURPOSE:To provide ease with which the push-pull cable of a cylinder is replaced by making one end of the push-pull cable pass through a head cover, fixing the end thereof to the external end of a piston rod, and fitting the sleeve of the cable to the head cover. CONSTITUTION:One end part of a flexible push-pull cable 17 is inserted through both the through-hole 12 of a piston rod 5 and the through-hole 14 of a head cover 2 and the inserted end thereof is engageably and disengageably fixed to the external end of the piston rod 5. A cylindrical sleeve 24 is firmly mounted on one end of a tube 22 with which the push-pull cable 17 is covered. The sleeve 24 is fitted to the head cover 2 engageably and disengageably. The replacement of the push-pull cable may be performed by the simple dismounting and mounting method.
