PURPOSE:To attain power saving without flowing a current when the operation as a differential amplifier is stopped by providing respectively an IGFET for control between a power supply terminal and an output terminal of the differential amplifier and between a grounding terminal and a grounding point. CONSTITUTION:The differential amplifier consists of the IGFETs 3-8. The IGFETs for control 13, 14 are connected between a power supply terminal 1 and outputs 11, 12. The IGFET17 for control is connected between the grounding terminal 16 and the grounding point 2. After an output corresponding to an input to input terminals 9, 10 is utilized, a terminal 15 is brought to a high level and a terminal 18 is brought to a low level. The IGFET17 is turned off and the current is interrupted. The outputs 11, 12 reach a high level. The level of the input terminals 9, 10 is inverted in this state. When the output is required, the terminal 15 is brought into a low level and the terminal 18 is brought into a high level so as to obtain a differential output. When the differential output is not required, the power to the differential amplifier is saved by interrupting the current.
