<p>Distillation apparatus (10) having a first chamber (16) for receiving water to be distilled and which surrounds one end of a second chamber (30) and also contains the condensing tube (24); liquid from the first chamber passes to a tube (32) located in the second chamber which traverse a path sufficient to heat the water in the tube to a predetermined temperature before exiting through a valve (38) to a liquid/gas separating device (56); a third chamber (31) receives the liquid from the separation device and is provided with a heater (68) to heat the liquid until it vaporizes whereupon it rises through the second chamber (30) to enter the condenser tube (24) located in the first chamber (16); the steam entering the condensing tube is cooled by the incoming water and is discharged from the apparatus. </p> |
