A shelter (10) adapted for use as a portable toilet having a plurality of upstanding planar wall panels (12) connected along adjacent vertical sides by flexible sheet hinge members (38, 40, 42). The wall panels (12), foldably collapsible for ease of shipment, are combined with a removable roof(14), base member (16) and commode (22) to form a complete portable toilet shelter (10) which may be quickly assembled on site. A number of flexible straps (84, 86) may be positioned underneath the base member (16) and releasably secured to opposing wall members (24, 26, 28, 30) of the shelter (10) in order to secure the base member (16) to the wall unit (12) and increase the stability of the shelter (10). |
