Correspondence file mechanism

The invention relates to a correspondence file mechanism with removable alignment pins. For this purpose, a fixing part is provided which can be moved by an actuating lever and into which the ends of the alignment pins are introduced. If the actuating lever is now pressed, the actuating part with the ends of the alignment pins is also moved. This in turn has the consequence that the other ends of the alignment pins are opened or closed. By means of a special design of the ends of the alignment pins and of the fixing part, various alignment pins can be used which are adapted to the respective width of a file spine.
