<p>The hand sterilizing device comprising an enclosure into which a hand or hands can be inserted, and a brush or other arrangement located within the enclosure for washing the inserted hand or hands. A radiation source is provided for exposing the interior of the enclosure to ultra violet radiation. The UV radiation sterilises the exposed skin surface very rapidly, and the brush or other arrangement enables the cleaning of regions to which the UV radiation cannot penetrate, e.g. behind the finger nails.</p> |
