PURPOSE:To prepare ground plant food having improved nutritive value, by heat-treating grain adjusted to a given water content, thence adjusting it to the desired water content to give processed grain suitable for easy cooking, preservation, etc., processing into fine powder. CONSTITUTION:Grain such as unpolished rice, polished rice, glutinous rice, etc. is adjusted to about 40wt% water content, put in a sealed state, heated to a given temperature depending upon uses of product by heating including steaming, made in a not raw state including not completely gelatinized state, the grain is adjusted to a water content depending upon uses of the grain to give processed grain, which is optionally processed into <=0.2mm., preferably <=0.1mm. particle diameter, to give ground plant food. |
