The invention is a tricycle for conveying persons or goods on which the part on which the person or the transport container to be conveyed is seated can be uncoupled from the drive part, Fig. 1. The part on which the person to be conveyed is seated is comparable with a conventional wheelchair and can also be used as such. This wheelchair is the steerable part of the tricycle. Thus, the said wheelchair is provided with a rotary joint and connecting element, Fig. 2, P. 1+2 in order to couple it to the drive part. A transport container can be coupled to the drive part analogously to the wheelchair. The range of application of the invention is in the local transportation of predominantly disabled persons. New prospects are created for the inclusion of disabled persons in everyday life in an uncomplicated fashion (e.g. shopping tips) and in leisure activities (e.g. visits to museums, the theatre, cycling tours). As a result of the fact that the disabled person does not have to be transferred into different vehicles for different environments (road, house), this invention provides relief precisely for less strong carers. <IMAGE> |
