<p>A numerical control system numerically controlls a mechanism (3), such as a machine tool, by means of a numerical control apparatus (1) and a programmable controller (2). In order to enable alteration of control data for the numerical control apparatus (1), which has been prepared in accordance with basic specifications thereof from the programmable controller (2), so that the functions of the system can be easily improved to match the mechanism (3), the system is arranged so that a processor (202e) in the programmable controller (2) can directly access a memory (101b) in the numerical control apparatus (1) by an address data bus (202g) of the programmable controller (2) connected to the memory (101b) in the numerical control apparatus (1). </p> |
