<p>An apparatus controls the tracking of a recorded disc reproduction device which successively reproduces recorded data by a pickup means from a rotating disc-shaped recording medium. A detection output corresponding to the deviation of the pickup means from its reference position is fed back to a first servo loop which effects a control such that the pickup means scans across the data track being reproduced using a tracking signal corresponding to the positional relationship between the pickup means and the data track, thereby providing a tracking control apparatus which is not readily affected by external disturbances such as vibration, without reducing the ability of the pickup means to follow the data track. </p> |
