PURPOSE:To prevent a strip from an irrational force produced during working by detecting both widthwise ends of the strip on this side of a guide roller and moving the guide roller to follow up the camber of the strip. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of a signal of side edge of a strip 1 from a detecting head 6, not only a milling cutter 4 but also a guide roller 7 follow up a camber of the strip even if the camber of the strip 1 comes independently between the milling cutter 4 and the guide roller 7. Thus, the strip 1 is prevented from an irrational force so that both widthwise ends of the strip 1 can be faced along the camber. |
