Hemodialysis system includes a dialysate container, for the reception of the total supply of dialysate, which is thermally insulated, so as to maintain the dialysate within an acceptable range during the treatment. The container includes an upper outlet for fresh dialysate and lower inlet for used dialysate, so that mixing of fresh and used dialysate is avoided. Insulation of the container avoids need for heating device, and together with prevention of mixing enables temp. reduction to be kept to 1 deg.C per hr.. The container can employ a U.V. radiator therewithin to prevent any increase in microorganisms in the dialysate. |
