PURPOSE:To run a vehicle in stable manner even if an atmospheric temperature or an atmospheric pressure is changed by releasing the opposite surface of pump delivery pressure receiving surface of a pressure control valve, controlling the delivery side pressure of a fuel pump, to atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The valve 22 of a relief valve 6 is provided with a diaphragm type structure and the delivery pressure of the pump is controlled into a constant pressure at all times. The air-tight condition between both left and right side surfaces of the valve 6 is kept prefectly by a valve body 23 and a diaphragm 24 and a low pressure chamber 26 is communicated with atmosphere through a low pressure side path 27, a rubber hose 17 and an air breezer pipe 18. According to this cnstitution, the low pressure chamber 26 will never be affected by the atmosphere in a fuel tank and the vehicle may be run in stable manner even if there is the change of atmospheric temperature or of atmospheric pressure. |
