1-Oxo-2-phenyl-2-(2-alkylaminoethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalenes of the formula I I where R1 and R2 are identical or different and are each hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy, R3 is C1-C6-alkyl and R4 is hydrogen, C1-C6-alkyl or benzyl, or R3 and R4 together may furthermore be a C2-C5-alkylene chain, and their salts with physiologically tolerated acids, and their preparation, are described. The novel compounds are useful active compounds for treating disorders.
