PURPOSE:To automatically excavate a circular trench around the roots of a tree at an angle to the ground's surface by a method in which the excavating boom is fixed at a given angle to the ground's surface and the steering wheel is fixed to a given direction. CONSTITUTION:A stopper handle 17 is drawn out of the small hole 16 of the stoper body 15, a handle 22 is tilted, and the tip of the stopper handle 17 is inserted into another small hole 16 to fix an excavating boom 9 at a given angle to the ground's surface. A steering wheel 4 is set in a given direction by the worm handle 27, and thereby the direction of the steering wheel 4 is fixed to a given direction by the lock mechanism of the worm wheel 24 and the worm 25. The driver 7 is actuated, a handle 22 is operated, and a circular trench is automatically excavated along the surrounding of the roots of a tree at a given angle to the ground's surface. |
