PURPOSE:To enable prevention of a disconnection in optical fibers by providing a covering part to stationary optical fibers to be used as input or output optical fibers and matching and fixing the bent optical fibers and the stationary optical fibers to the respectively different 1st and 2nd base plates. CONSTITUTION:Matching members 312 provided with a step smaller than the outside diameter of optical fibers are installed oppositely in the parts where the bundles 309-311 in the strand parts of bent and stationary optical fibers are disposed to match and fix surely the bundles in the strand parts. The cut faces 313, 314 of the 1st base plate 301 and the 2nd base plate 302 are respectively polished and both cut faces 313, 314 are placed oppositely to each other to couple the optical paths. The bundles 309-311 in the strand parts are matched and fixed in the square columnar space formed by installing the end parts in the projecting parts 303 or 304 of the plates 301, 302 and the members 312 provided with the step similar to the step in the projcting parts so as to face each other. As a result, the disconnection of the optical fibers during handling is minimized and the workability is improved. |
