PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant cast alloy with much superior creep strength at extremely high temp. chiefly for the skid rails of a heating furnace for iron manufacture by specifying the amounts of C, Si, Mn, Cr, W and Co in Ni. CONSTITUTION:This heat-resistant cast alloy consists of, by weight, <=0.1% C, <=1.0% Si, <=1.0% Mn, 25-35% Cr, 15-25% W, 5-25% Co and the balance Ni. The alloy has superior creep strength at about 1,200-1,300 deg.C extremely high temp., so skid parts, etc. each having a considerably prolonged life can be obtd. by using the alloy. |
