PLUG BAR EXTRACTING DEVICE IN SEAMLESS STEEL PIPE INSTALLATION

PURPOSE:To reduce a pitch of piercing work and to improve productive efficiency by providing a distributing lever for receiving and mounting a plug bar and a distributing cylinder for slanting the distributing lever to a titled device. CONSTITUTION:A stripper head 21 is moved to the side of a chain wheel 19 by driving a chain wheel 18 with the aid of a motor 24 to hook the head of a plug 29 to the head 21, then the plug bar 29 is extracted from a hollow blank pipe 31 by moving the head 21 to the chain wheel 18 side. When the head 21 arrives at the chain wheel 18 side, plural supporting rolls descend at the same time by a cylinder to put down the plug bar 29, extracted from the pipe 31, on a distributing lever 27. At the same time, the head 21 unhooked from the bar 29 is returned to the chain wheel 19 side to wait for the next extraction of the plug bar. The distributing lever 17 is slanted in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the head 21 by a distributing cylinder 28 to distribute the plug bar 29.
