PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has excellent heat resistance and prevent the resin from being deteriorated during molding with heating, by adding a phenol phosphite antioxidant to a specified arom. polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:0.2-2.0pts.wt. antioxidant which is an ester [e.g. 1,1,3-tris(2- methyl-4-ditridecylphosphite-5-t-butylphenyl)butane] derived from a phenol compd. having at least two phenolic hydroxyl groups and a phosphite compd., is added to 100pts.wt. arom. polyester resin having a logarithmic viscosity number of 0.2-2.0 and the formula (wherein R<1>-R<8> are each H, halogen, a 1-10 C hydrocarbon group ; X is a vibalent C1-C20 hydrocarbon group, -O-, -S-, -SO2-, -CO- ; a is 0, 1 and when a is 0, X is a direct bond where arom. rings are directly bonded to each other ; the carbonyl groups on arom. rings are located at positions meta and/or para with respect to each other ; n is a degree of polymn.) produced from terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid or their derivatives and a bisphenol.
