PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a high-frequency heater with an electric heater as well as raise the efficiency of heat and the performance of giving scorched trace by providing a conductive linear wire in the inside of the heating coil of the electric heater. CONSTITUTION:A conductive short-circuit bar 9 is straightly set in the central part of the heating coil of an electric heater 3. When high frequency is radiated, a short-circuit current is flowed in the longitudinal direction of the short-circuit bar 9, the voltage in the longitudinal direction is zeroed, and the voltage between the pitches of the heating coil 4 is nearly zeroed. An insulation tube 10 is made of a heat-resistant and high frequency-transmissive material. The heat efficiency and the acorched trace-giving performance of the heater can be raised and its life can also be lengthened as well as spark discharge is suppressed.
