PURPOSE:To enable high speed marking and to improve marking quality by performing marking in an optimum mode in conformity with the capacity of an arithmetic control device. CONSTITUTION:Either of the 1st mode in whch the stepping rates of X- and Y deflecting mirrors are operated within the period and marking is performed when the time for operating said stepping rates is shorter than the period of a synchronizing pulse and the 2nd mode in which the stepping rates for one stroke are preliminarily operated and are stored in a memory within the prescribed time such as waiting for the response of a shutter closing operation and the marking is performed by reading out the stepping rates from the memory at every reception of the synchronizing pulse when the time for operating the stepping rates for one stroke of the X- and Y deflection mirrors are longer than the period of the synchronizing pulse is made selectable according to a marking pattern. |
