摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the worsening of a coil shape by detecting the positions of respective interstand loops and keeping the speed changing rate of a finish mill within the allowable limits. CONSTITUTION:A timewise changing rate is calculated by a rate detector 2 by obtaining a speed correcting signal to the mill motor of a stand 16 of a finish mill from output signals of loop position detectors 31-35. The calculated results are further inputted to a limiter 3 to judge whether or not the timewise changing rate of the speed correcting signal of the finish mill is kept within the allowable limits. For keeping it within the allowable limits, a loop which is outputting a speed correcting signal of the largest timewise changing rate and indicating the same polarity as the timewise changing rate of speed correcting signal of the stand 16 of the finish mill is obtained to control the mill motor speed of a stand located at the upstream side of the obtained loop. Further, the timewise changing rates of the speed correcting signals outputted from respective loops 22-25 are obtained by loop detectors 42-45 and are inputted to a selector 4 to select a loop indicating the maximum timewise changing rate, thereby the changing rate of the rotational speed of a roll of finish mill is controlled to a minimum.</p>
