<p>Compositions which are effective in stabilizing polymers against the deteriorative effects of heat are provided comprising 1) a hydroxythio tin compound or mixture of hydroxythio tin compounds, 2) a mercaptancontaining organic compound or-mixture of mercaptancontaining organic compounds, and, optionally, 3) an organotin compound or mixture of organotin compounds. Also provided are polymer compositions containing said stabilizers, a process for stabilizing polymers, and articles of manufacture made from stabilized polymer compositions.</p> |
