PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent mechanical properties and good adhesion to epoxy resins, consisting of a specified polyester and an inorg. filler. CONSTITUTION:1-150pts.wt. inorg. filler such as glass fiber is blended with 100pts.wt. polyester contg., as an essential component, a repeating unit of formula V obtd. from a dicarboxylic acid component contg. at least 60mol% of a phenyl indanedicarboxylic acid (derivative) of formula I (wherein R<1>-R<3> are each H, a 1-5 C aliph. group, halogen ; R<6>, R<7> are H, a 1-6 C alkyl, a 6-20 C aryl) and a diol component of formula II [wherein R is a 2-20 C aliph. group, alicyclic group or a group of formula III or IV (wherein Ar is a 6-20C arom. group, alicyclic group ; R<4>, R<5> are each a 1-6 C aliph. group)].
