PURPOSE:The titled mechanism for reducing amount of torsion of bottom roller, obtained by dividing an apron bottom roller into two parts in the longitudinal direction, connecting the one to a drive source, producing driving force of the other from a back bottom roller and a front bottom roller. CONSTITUTION:The apron bottom roller 2 is divided into the first roller 2A and the second roller 2B in the longitudinal direction in the vicinity of the center, turning force of the driving shaft 4 is transmitted through the first gear mechanism 30 to the front bottom roller 3, the first apron bottom roller 2A, and the back bottom roller 1. The turning force transmitted to the rollers 3 and 1 is transmitted through the second gear mechanism 31 to the second apron bottom roller 2B. An amount of torsion of the bottom roller can be reducing without thickening the bottom roller, end breakage and yarn unevenness are prevented and number of spindles can be increased.
