PURPOSE:To enhance the separation efficiency of oil mist or the like, by scattering water droplets by supplying water to a rotor which is formed by securing blades to the surface of a disc while allowing gas accompanied by oil mist and dust to pass through the scattered water droplets. CONSTITUTION:Blades 48 are fixed to one surface of a disc 16 subjected to rotary driving around the horizontal axis thereof by a motor 17 so as to provide intervals in the peripheral direction of said disc 16. Water is supplied from a nozzle 21 through a pipeline 9 and scattered externally in the radius direction of said disc 16 at a high speed to form a water film to a passage 18 over the entire periphery thereof. Gas accompanied by oil mist and dust is introduced from an introducing port 19 and flowed through the water film formed in the passage 18 while oil mist and dust are separated while collided with water droplets. The purified gas is exhausted from a pipeline 18 and the water accumulated in a cover 32 is discharged from a pipeline 10.
