PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption by providing a switch for switching the period of a trigger pulse in response to the type of a used control rectifier, thereby eliminating an excess pulse. CONSTITUTION:An AC voltage applied to a load RL is divided via a breeder resistor R4, inputted to a zero cross detector 11, a zero cross pulse is inputted to a reference voltage converter 12, converted to the reference voltage of a control temperature range, and inputted to a comparator 14. The prescribed binary input is applied to a control terminal Tc in response to the control rectifier. A transistor Tr2 becomes ON and a transistor Tr1 becomes OFF when using a triac, and a firing control pulse is outputted at every half cycle from a comparator 14. The transistor Tr1 becomes ON when using an SCR, and a firing control pulse is outputted once in one AC cycle from the comparator 14. |
