PURPOSE:To produce an image pick-up tube where picture image information can be collected with sufficient resolution and scanning speed, by arranging a plurality of electron gun sections while scanning the input face simultaneously with a plurality of electron beams. CONSTITUTION:An image pick-up tube 2 is insulated electrically while splitted into four while having a photo-conductive substance layer 10 formed through first to four transparent electrodes 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D are upon projection of phosphor image onto the face plate 4, electrons are projected simultaneously from first to fourth electron gun sections 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D to beam scan four regions of photoconductive substance layer 10 of each corresponding transparent electrodes 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D simultaneously to produce image signals from output terminals 8A, 8B, 8C, 8D. Consequently scanning speed can be reduced to 1/4 to enable taking in of picture image information with high resolution when photographying an phosphor image to be produced from an image intensifier in X-ray photographer. |
