<p>PURPOSE:To enable complicated information transmission between a storing means and an image forming means with a simple constitution by controlling the operation of the image forming means in accordance with a transmitted code signal. CONSTITUTION:When multistage sorters A and B are used to distribute copies, the operation is very facilitated because storage capabilities of sorters are detected preliminarily to control the display or copying operation. Since the number of usable bins of sorters A and B is set preliminarily to the copying machine side to control the copying operation display, sorters A and B are used efficiently. Since the copying operation is displayed by flickering an indicator used for another purpose, the number of indicators is reduced. Since each of sorters A and B has a mechanism which counts the number of bins, the number of bins is discriminated easily when a copier and sorters are connected, and the total sum of numbers of bins is discriminated with the simple constitution even if sorters are different in the number of bins or sorters are connected in an optional order, thus providing a convenience for various controls.</p> |
