PURPOSE:To improve the generation characteristic of a fuel-cell power generating system by preventing any unbalance in the gas flow by dividing the cell body into plural cell blocks and successively supplying fuel gas or oxidant gas to the cell blocks. CONSTITUTION:Each of an inlet and an outlet manifold 16 and 17 for fuel gas is provided with the first to the fifth divided rooms in such a manner that the fuel gas from a fuel gas supply tube 2 flows through the cell blocks 25A-25E of a cell body in that order. The fuel gas flowing into the first divided room of the fuel gas inlet manifold 16, after passing through the first cell block 25A and the first divided room of the fuel gas outlet manifold 17, flow over sill plates 29 successively located in series into the burner of a reformer after passing through the fifth divided room of the outlet manifold 17 and a fuel gas exhaust tube 23. As a result the fuel gas is homogeneously supplied to the cell blocks 25A-25E in a sufficient quantity of flow. |
